Meet the New Analysts: Fall 2026 Q&A
Abele Fike

Meet Abele — A Little About Your Background
Hi! I am a freshman – class of 2030 – in Branford College, from Charlotte, North Carolina. I am planning on majoring in economics and either another social science or humanities major – thinking Psychology or History!
Beyond the Classroom — Interests & Involvements
I enjoy working in the community and am super passionate about working with special education. I especially love working through the Special Olympics and enjoyed getting to see their impact through my high school. I am from a HUGE football family and will forever be an SEC football fan – but I also love to watch any sport, especially volleyball! I am super big on staying active and am excited to try out all the pilates/fitness classes around Yale.
New Haven Favorites — Food, Study Spots & Coffee Orders
My go to food spot at the moment has to be Sweet Green. Though, if I am in the mood for some personal customization, Silliman dining has been my sweet spot for a fresh salad.
Why YUCG? — What Inspired You to Join?
I decided to join YUCG because I wanted to be around a group of people simultaneously ambitious and welcoming. Every person I met throughout the EC Bazaar and meetings was so supportive and gave me excellent feedback that really proved I would learn so much as a member.
Life at YUCG — Experiences & What’s Ahead
I loved it. I have met so many amazing people and have built great relationships already with both upperclassmen and us freshmen. I love running into everyone on Yale Campus. And I am really excited to work with my team this semester – I think we are going to have a blast.
Dream Client — If You Could Consult for Anyone…
If I could work on any consulting project I think I would have to pick the Charlotte Hornets. The Hornets do so much to work with education and empowering younger generations – I personally got to participate in the Hornets Book Bus in 1st grade and have been a fan ever since. It would be so fun to have a touch of back home while also getting work alongside the sports industry – and I think diving into the world of basketball would be super fun.
Ravi Vora

Meet Ravi — A Little About Your Background
I am a first-year in Davenport College from Scarsdale, NY, and I plan to major in Economics and Global Affairs.
Beyond the Classroom — Interests & Involvements
On campus, I am a part of YUCG, Spring Fling, and The Politic. Beyond these, I love to go for runs, read long-form investigative journalism, play basketball, listen to indie rock and house music, and hangout with friends.
New Haven Favorites — Food, Study Spots & Coffee Orders
I’ve only been on campus for like a month but when I am not going to a dining hall I love to get a noodle bowl at Junzi Kitchen. A favorite study spot has to be Bass, but I don’t know how much work actually gets done there. And, for a go-to coffee order, I go to Atticus and get a cappuccino.
Why YUCG? — What Inspired You to Join?
I joined YUCG since I always had an interest in how businesses function and public policy. I have found that consulting is a unique way to make recommendations/conduct research in realms that I am interested in and have the potential to create a real impact. Separately, I was really pulled in after hearing about all of the client funded travel stories over the years, and particularly the team that was flown out by the Dallas Mavericks and sat courtside.
Life at YUCG — Experiences & What’s Ahead
I have had such a great time at YUCG thus far, especially at the retreat getting closer with fellow new analysts and talking to older members. Since I am new, I don’t have much to say about other facets of the organization, but I hope to land a cool client through the Client Affairs Team. On my own project, I am excited by the prospect of traveling to the Middle East, and, more generally, I look forward to the big clubwide events.
Dream Client — If You Could Consult for Anyone…
If I had to work on a consulting project for any organization, it would probably be some sort of record label. I love music so naturally getting to work with the teams that foster an artist’s talent and invest in their future success would be exciting. And, depending on the genre, there is a good chance I would take concert tickets as compensation. On the other end of the spectrum, I am also interested in some sort of public sector consulting, whether with the United Nations, International Monetary Fund, or the World Bank.
