What We Look For
Team Players

We want to work with a team that we can count on, both in and out of projects. YUCG members should be excited to create a strong community both as team members and leaders.

Analytical Thinkers

Being able to structure and resolve problems is a vital skill for any analyst. This skill comes with being able to break down problems into their component parts to more easily evaluate them.

Committed Members

YUCG will consume your time. We want people who are passionate about our projects and have an innate drive to improve our organization's performance and community.

Diverse Experiences

At YUCG, we value individuality. We seek your unique perspective, informed by your own interests, background, and experiences. There is rarely ever a cookie-cutter solution to our client's needs, which is why we look for applicants with different passions and majors.

Creative Thinkers

We look for people who can innovate new solutions and use different perspectives to solve problems. Your creativity should be motivated by forward-thinking, and a desire to come up with completely novel approaches that challenge the status quo.

Excellent Communicators

The ability to express your thoughts persuasively and precisely is key to success in our work. All our members must be able to give clear presentations to clients.

Diversity
Equity
Inclusion

We believe that a diverse team leads to better outcomes, and we welcome all applicants from different backgrounds and experiences. At YUCG, we highly value representation and strive to create a culture of inclusivity. As part of our commitment to diversity, we offer interactive consulting information sessions for students whose identities have been historically underrepresented in the professional world, which provide opportunities to learn about our club and the industry. We also believe that ongoing dialogue and feedback are crucial, and we encourage open communication to ensure that our DEI initiatives are effective and responsive to the needs of our diverse group.

Our analyst classes each semester consist of students from various backgrounds and experiences, many of whom have little to no prior consulting experience. We believe that everyone brings something unique to the table, and we want to provide opportunities for individuals from all walks of life to grow and succeed in their careers.

We welcome you to apply and look forward to meeting you!
